Winter ain't over yet it seems. At least the city doesn't look dirty anymore. A look at the St. Lawrence flowing into parc des rapides.

It is definitely winter here at Kaercher Creek. We expect 6 or more inches of snow tomorrow. A far cry from the hot July day when this shot of an immature male Eastern Pondhawk was taken.
It gave me so much joy to share my love of nature and life with you. Your wonderful photos have inspired me and brightened my days. I must take a break for a while but will still enjoy viewing your photos. LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL!

We went to see Bodnant Garden today. Not as much wind damage as I feared, but still, some. They had a LOVELY new winter garden. It was so worth seeing. Some early rhodos are already flowering, few camellias, irises, snowdrops... loads to see and smell! I want a Nepalese Paper Plant! It smells wonderful. These beauties were in the new winter garden part.
A winter sunset shot taken on a small hill looking towards mount Pilatus in the background.

Winter at the wooden foot bridge leading to Cwm Idwal lake, Snowdonia, north Wales UK
Cwm Idwal is a very popular attraction for visitors interested in walking, climbing, fishing and geology.
Cwm Idwal is a national nature reserve, and one of the few places in Britain where the Snowdon Lilly can be found. It is an area to be treated with extra special respect. It is an area which is home to lots of wildlife.
