♫♫♫Everything I've done in my life's walk a little more
We've been raised in the same world with all those different colors...
All my days I'Il be trying

As the leaves rustle,
colors mingle and soon fade
-- a dance to the end.
In Georgia, Winter is a time where some leaves bear many colors while others have faded away. Something about them invites me to play. Shooting into the morning light on a new day through multiple exposure. Wishing everyone a great day ahead!
Winter Aconites or Eranthis hyemalis coming to an end. Should I be sorry, for they have brightened up the grey days? No it means Spring really is beginning.
Winter along Georgian Bay allows for some wonderful ice sculptures as the crashing waves shower layer upon layer of water that freezes on the rocks and plants on shore. The wind, freezing temperatures and snow bring a cold beauty to our area.

All the complicated details
of the attiring and
the disattiring are completed!
A liquid moon
moves gently among
the long branches.
Thus having prepared their buds
against a sure winter
the wise trees
stand sleeping in the cold.

Photographed last Friday, 7th June, 2024.
The bokeh consists of the fiery red leaves of my Canadian Maple 'Lipstick Red' tree which is now in its full Autumn colours - despite it being Winter. The subtropical nature of Sydney's climate alters the seasons.

Woke up to heavy snowing this morning and then it's snowed most of the day. This is the view from an upstairs window. This is not a mono-shot just grey like it has been for days. Last time we had a sunny day was on the 7th of Jan.

My garden is a constant source of inspiration to me. In the darkest months of winter, this amazing flower faithfully blooms. Beginning in November and continuing into March, Mahonia 'Charity' shares its golden beauty to feed my soul.
"In the depth of winter I finally learned that there was in me an invincible summer."
