At long last, a butterfly visited my yard! I was able to follow this one butterfly around for a "photo shoot" by my mail box. Didn't last long, but I got a few shots anyway.
This big group of birds (Starlings, I believe) stayed around the yard and street for a while, and I tried to get a shot of them all flying away again, but I couldn't. I love the way this shot turned out, though. Altered.
This aircraft does VTOL, can hover, fly sideways, fly backwards and lands anywhere and in any position. It also has a sophisticated flight/navigation system that even when flying in a swarm in a seemingly haphazard pattern, collisions with other similar aircraft are nil.
God created this aircraft long before man invented the wheel. Has man replicated this feat? No. Human knowledge is millions of years behind God's wisdom and power. Praise be to God!!!
Mississauga, Ont. There was a Red Winged Blackbird that wouldn't stop swooping at the Heron's head for territorial reasons. We couldn't take a picture of his attack because when we were within that range, the bird swooped US!
If all parts of the Laburnum are poisonous, don't that mean the honey is too? just a thought (of no scientific reference)

Flexing wings . Other birders are usually willing to share knowledge of sightings . This treat came on a tip . I was photographing Osprey on the Duamish river in Tukwila, Wa. and a bicyclist stopped and mentioned the owls at Camp Long in West Seattle, Wa.
