A view out a window in Terminal 5 at KLAX/Los Angeles International Airport...it's crowded out there in the alleyway as an American B-757 waits for another jetliner to clear before taxiing out to the active runway.
My apologies for the quality of the photo - this was the best I could do through the faded Plexiglass window of this old bird (thank goodness for Photoshop!). Anyhow, it is not everyday an airliner enthusiast gets a view like this. The aircraft is N9412H, an 049 parked at Greenwood Lake (4N1).

The sun is low and way south casting long lazy shadows when it breeches the clouds. Freezing temperatures.
Luckily the rear emergency hatch was open, so I could get an unimpeded view of the wing and landing gear of this impressive aircraft. Even my 17-mm lens was stretched to the limit.
