Looking through the open window in the bomb bay, with a view of the massive main gear of the Liberator.
Instagram edited photo of LAX while waiting for our departure to Maui, Hawaii - onboard American Airlines Boeing 757
The scratched plexiglass and hailstorm do not help with visibility here, but I could still imagine those massive props turning.
Fox River flowing through Batavia, Illinois. Batavia was founded in 1833, and during the latter part of the 19th century, the river town became the home of six American style windmill manufacturing companies. For several months in 1875, Mary Todd Lincoln was an involuntary resident of Batavia, as she was admitted to the Bellevue Place, a sanitarium for women. The distinctive shape of the Liberator's tailplane is shown to good effect. The angle is a little awkward, as I had to shoot blind, sticking hand and camera out of the open window, against the strong slipstream.

Our luncheon view, out Cilantro Mary's front window, onto the St. Vrain Market - 7/31/2010 - By Robin Kanouse
New owners. New experience.
Since being purchased by Neil and Connie Sullivan in late 2009, the historic St. Vrain Market has been completely transformed from an ordinary convenience store quick stop to a warm, welcoming downtown shopping and eating experience for locals and visitors alike.
The market provides groceries, fresh produce, all-natural/organic meat and dairy, a deli and lunch counter, and a bakery -- seven days a week.
The market also provides outdoor seating and soon will include a community park area with picnic tables and landscaping alongside a beautiful new outdoor mural.
In addition, the store carries signature merchandise perfect for locals and visitors to celebrate Lyons' nostalgia and the market's farm fresh offerings.
St. Vrain Market is your local and fresh choice for food shopping.
Overflying Benidorm at around 20,000 feet after departure from Alicante on Easyjet flight 8224 to Luton.
My apologies for the quality of the photo - this was the best I could do through the faded Plexiglass window of this old bird (thank goodness for Photoshop!). Anyhow, it is not everyday an airliner enthusiast gets a view like this. The aircraft is N9412H, an 049 parked at Greenwood Lake (4N1).
Ningbo was one of China's oldest cities, with a history dating back to 4800 BC the Hemudu culture. Once known as Mingzhou (明州), Ningbo was known as a trade city on the silk road at least two thousand years ago, and then as a major port, along with Yangzhou and Guangzhou in the Tang Dynasty; thereafter, the major ports for foreign trade in the Song Dynasty. The city of Ningbo is recalled for a long time under the name of Liampó, in the Peregrination (Peregrinação) of Fernão Mendes Pinto, novel autobiographic Portuguese of the XVIth century. It is in this place it seems that was installed the first Portuguese salable community of the seas of China, before Macao. There are celebrated the feats of the pirate António of Faria..Ningbo was one of the five Chinese treaty ports opened by the Treaty of Nanjing (signed in 1842) at the end of the First Opium War between Britain and China. During the war, British forces took possession of the walled city of Ningbo briefly after storming the fortified town of Zhenhai at the mouth of the Yong River on October 10, 1841. In 1864, the forces of the Taiping Rebellion held the town for six months. In March 1885, during the Sino-French War, Admiral Courbet's naval squadron blockaded several Chinese warships in Zhenhai Bay and exchanged fire with the shore defences.
Ningbo was once famed for traditional Chinese furniture production.
