Middlemoor on Dartmoor in Devon.

Spent petal, window light, flip and flop. Thank you for your appreciation, Gail

I thought I would show everyone my nice head of hair. I tend to wear Fedoras, baseball caps and bandanas a lot.

I invited the lovely Lisa March to grace my portrait collection. She is a black status presenter with Younique Products and inspires women around the world.

Her mission is to uplift and empower women through the high quality products that encourage inner and outer beauty as well as an opportunity for personal growth and financial reward.

If you would like to learn more about Younique, you can connect with Lisa here.

A twisted tiny decoration that came attached to the ribbon on a present. Found it while sorting things to toss or donate. Or photograph for #MacroMonday's #twist theme ;)

See? I knew it would come in handy someday! No wonder it seems so difficult to pack.

Def: the impatient or bored feeling that you get when you have not been outside for a long time...or you are unable to hold a camera with both hands! aaargh!!!

Mint tea, mozza, avocado, & tomato sandwiches and ukulele playing have filled my work breaks today.

Played "The Universe Song" until I got the chords and lyrics right.

(I absolutely love Monty Python and this is one of my favorite songs of theirs)

I leave for West Virginia on Wednesday.

I have too much to get done before then.

I should be working constantly, but

my eyes were aching from staring at the computer screen

so I took a break from the world of white balance, tones, and saturation

to play a song for my chubby dog.

For Perfect Purple Saturday! Hope you all have a wonderful day, it's rainy here and I so want to get out and take fall pictures!!

It's been weeks since I've picked up my camera. This was taken a while ago in the morning after doing yoga - the light was beautiful as it poured into my room!

And chicken leg sure loves lying in the sun light :)

Another week and another storm! Managed to rescue some flowers, from the garden, before the wind and rain hit. It's pretty dark outside, even in the middle of the day — some coffee and comfort food is much appreciated.

Our Christmas lights on one of our living room windows, showing through our window shade. We really love the effect, and hope you find it pleasing as well.

We wish all of our good friends on Flickr a Safe, Healthy, Happy and Prosperous New Year!!

Dog Days Indeed

Thank you Explore!

The four dark horizontal bars are shadows cast by parts of the storm door which is outside and just beyond the door in the photo, with its etched glass lilies. When I photograph this window again I'll open the storm door so that the image is free from those shadows.

I think knowledge can be a great thing. Even for a Teddy Bear. It does not look to me like he is faking it either. His head moves slowly from side to side.

Actually it is quite creepy.

Happy Teddy Bear Tuesday

These tulips followed me from Zemun to Belgrade,

and somehow every place I touch becomes a little softer…

a little more like home.

These beautiful tulips were courtesy of my hubby in hopes of cheering me up. How sweet was that?

Well, I thought the thief had deleted my images from his stream, but apparently he just deleted the set. He has 17 of my images from the middle of page 7-8. I would suggest y'all block him and I would also appreciate it if y'all would report him to the Flickr team. I wish that Flickr would do more to protect us from this sort of thing from happening.

Have a Happy Easter!

I miss your kind and lovely spirit every day... //

Please note: I replaced this photo with another version including the roses from another photo instead of black space all around. I hope everyone who already faved is ok with this.

Some days just don't start the way you think they will.

What you expect, is not always what you get.

So let me spin you a yarn. The bears help me out with ideas all the time.

Thank you Huntley

The lensbaby at the f2 opening (wide open), and a very narrow sweetspot. I prefer it straight as the area outside of sharpness has a wonderful bokeh. I added a touch of saturation to the weeds to separate them from the rest of the props. This is a cool device :-)
