Growing up as a kid I only ever lived in one house, and I loved the fact that I knew it so well...which stair creaks, so you can avoid it when sneaking up or down the stairs....how many steps to various places when there was a power cut for example! My parents still live there with my brother, and although I now have a lovely home with my husband, whenever I walk back into that house it is still a home to me!
