We drove past the new wind farm at Lissett. Impressive as I have not seen many of these close. Each of these is 2.5mw. They look dramatic in the sunshine against the clouds.
Hello everyone.
It's been a long while since I last uploaded a picture. How are you all doing? February's ending, the snow must be melting, no? Formatives were going on last week, I was busy in that.
When I got the schedule for this week, I was glad to see a seminar by the name of "Winds of Change" which is going to be held tomorrow. I am super excited for that! I am so looking forward to it. Seminars like these are beneficial in the middle of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology and other medical stuff.
I hope you all are doing fine.
Best wishes.

My first attempt at an outdoor time lapse. This is from about 45 minutes of shots at a 4 second interval. Having a talking book to read on the iPhone helps! I was interested to see if the wind would wobble the tripod, but that doesn't seem to have been a problem. It was certainly swinging the cables. It's not the greatest sunset or the most beautiful location, but it's only an hour's walk from home so it's a good place to experiment. More will follow ;-)
Wind blew off the ocean for a week straight recently, and sand moved around...a lot. This fence line was exposed as sand moved from its front toward its back where a whole new dune formed.
'Candle in the Wind'
after several nights of trying to photograph the moon (with little success) - the wind picked up to about 45 mph tonight (and the temperature dropped to the 20's) and inspiration struck . . . . . . . my tribute to Marilyn Monroe
A handful of shots taken on a trip up to Farr Wind Farm. We drove as close as we could and then biked the last 6 mile round trip.
I made a noob error and shot this whole day with the camera set to ISO400, so there's more noise than I'd like.
Weather at Pasir Ris Park was breathtaking last evening, cool, very windy and overcast sky.
As I do most of Sundays, went again to have a walk on beach.
Enjoyed weather mainly, took few photographs at the same time… I like specially this one, let me explain why so? First because one can get feel of wind from leaves and hair and second DOF, which is neither shallow enough to blur the leaves and remove effect of wind and nor deep enough to make background get mixed with subject… its just perfect.
This wind eroded cave formed the backdrop to my campsite. The ledge on the right was perfect for organizing my food and camp gear and the small cave to the bottom right protected my shoes, socks and clothing from any dew one might encounter over night (it never materialized).

I soldered on 8 fine silver bezel cups ranging from 4mm to 6mm. Then I custom made and added 2 7mm cups for the pretty Peridots. All in all 10 bezel cups for 10 little gems. There are Peridot, Blue Adventurine, Green Adventurine, Moon Stones, Rose Quartz, Amethyst, and a lovely little opal, 10 precious gems are sprinkled around this crown.
I have more info on the process of creating this crown on my blog.
