All lovely things will fade and die;
And youth, that's now so bravely spending,
Will beg a penny by and by.”

I knew this train was coming but I did not know it was being lead by NS 2515 a (SD 70) this is just as good as a heritage unit leading in my mind. This is a Westbound at Steward, IL with NS 1074 in tow.
I will always love this sight, this place, this light.
Last shot of this series. Unfortunately, I have to go away [again] and be without a computer. Will have to catch up on Monday...I know many good pictures will be posted by all of you while I'm gone!
This nicely plump Bumblebee was so into its sunflower breakfast that it paid me no mind while I intruded on its morning routine.

A typical summer severe thunderstorm in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. I’m looking forward to chasing these storms in the Midwest in the next coming months with my friends at SkyScape.
Anyway, thanks for scrolling far enough to see my dumb little picture. If you are interested in seeing how I create my dumb little pictures you can head to www.ryandyar.com or check out the link in my profile. I have a new video that shows how I take crappy photos and make them much less crappy.

Typically, when I post a photo, it’s my own work, and the only description is the lyrics of a song that sparked the idea in my mind. But this picture is different. This was taken by Ari Gunner, who, without hesitation or expectation, offered to help me with my first store simply because she wanted to see me succeed. That simple act of kindness perfectly sums up who Ari was—not just in that moment, but in every moment I was lucky enough to share with her.
She wasn’t just a friend; she was the closest thing I ever had to a mother, both in SL and RL. She was there for me in ways that no one else was, without question, without obligation—just pure, unwavering support. She took care of me when she didn’t have to, when the world felt heavy, and when I felt alone.
I will carry her kindness, her love, and her generosity with me for the rest of my life. She gave so much and asked for nothing in return. That is the kind of love that never fades, and I will never forget her.

Providence and Worcester Railroad road freight WONR is at MP 43 on the Norwich Branch mainline, the historic Norwich and Worcester Railroad which opened through here in 1840. They are heading back south 40 miles to their home terminal of Plainfield, CT after making a turn up to Worcester put have paused here to pull and spot Impact Plastics less than a half mile to the north and will pause again just ahead to work International Paper before continuing south.
Leading the way are four four motor GEs, two in Genesee and Wyoming orange and two in original PW red and brown. 3910 on the point is an ex LMX General Electric B39-8E, part of a group of 102 built in 1987-88 for GE's leasing arm and immediately put on long term lease to Burlington Northern. PW picked up six of them around 2001, but this particular one came to the road later as a replacement for 3908 that was damaged in 2019. 3910 looks fresh because it was only just renumbered and painted in June 2022. Prior to that it still wore LMX gray and its original number, 8534, as an RLCX and then NREX lease unit before spending some time in the Silvis deadline.

I will carry you through darkness
‘Til we see the sun again
Know that I am with you here
When you can’t lift that weight
Believe me when I say I will
Like today, this moment, time and place we will never get it back ever

Dear friends,
I apologize for not having shared any new photos in quite some time. Unfortunately, a series of challenges arose, leaving me with no time for photography. Currently, my country is under attack by Russia, and the circumstances are dire. My family and I are hoping to survive through these trying times.
I extend my wishes for peace to everyone.
Warmest regards,
Roman

Will you run, or will you fight ... the outcome will be the same. Anyone crossing her path wont find any hope once her magics within reach. Roll your dice and hope for a natural 20 ...
Can you answer the call?

Will is enjoying a clump of pumpkin. I think this stringy variety is their favorite. I gave the Wright-Locke goats a few of them today, as the farm has a big pile of them that were dropped off by patrons. The goats get very excited for them!
Can't help but be touched by the way they nuzzle and gently touch beaks with each other during the bonding before mating. Nature at it's best........
Apart from the weather being a little to bright and hot ( sadly we moan about the dull cold weather.......but there are days when it can be too bright for photography )
Skomer Island was beautiful, not only the wildlife......but all the different wild flowers in bloom made the island look gorgeous

It's sad, but true, that we often neglect to show the passion we feel for that special someone in our lives. We get so busy making sure that everything else is in order in our lives that we just don't make the time we should for them. It seems that often we put it off for so long that we forget just how it used to make us feel to laugh ourselves into tears over something we find so silly or to look forward with eager anticipation to the tender, loving touch of desire. It's so easy to fall into the habit of believing that he/she knows how much we love them and that we'll find the time someday. Sadly, we don't even realize that we may not have very many "somedays" left to share.
Take a few minutes to remember when just the mention of his/her name made your knees go weak and your heart flutter, then make some plans for just the two of you. You'll likely be surprised to find the happiness you didn't realize you left behind if you'll just take the time to whisper gently:
"Come away with me?"
