Wild horse at Spring Mountains, Nevada. Would you believe that's only an hours drive from the neon tackiness of Vegas? I wouldn't, either.
definitely not one of our usual pheasants - the hen was a gorgeous deep brown, also with blue tones to the neck

Wild turkey in Dorchester County
We came across this "wild" Galápagos Tortoise hiking on a wooded path on Santa Cruz Island, and unlike the tortoises at the Darwin Research Station the "free ranging" tortoises were a little shyer and would pull in their heads if you got within 10 or 15 feet of them. - Santa Cruz Island, Galápagos Islands, Ecuador.

This is kinda scary. This is Tuck right after a shower. His hair is kinda.... hmm.... long. Kara thought he was a woman from behind yesterday! Hmm.. Kinda makes you wonder.. Which is worse.. the fact that Tuck's hair is that long, or that these days women have hair that short... lol....
It's well known fact that in all Siemianowice ÅšlÄ…skie (south Poland) parks and forests, you can discover an illegal landfill. Worn tires, debris exported from refurbished flats, cut branches on the plot and plenty of other junk.
Penalties for littering the area are still too small.

Wild dogs in Botswana. Wild dogs are extremely rare. Our guide was very excited to see these - probably happens only a couple of times per year. These are two adolescents practicing their skills for fun. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/African_Wild_Dog)
These things grow wild in my garden...I think the birds dropped seeds there. They have an amazing Garlicy Oniony smell to them but I'm afraid to cook with them.
It is breeding season for Wild Turkeys in the Lower Rio Grande Valley, Texas. These shots were captured at Port Mansfield, Willacy County. The Valley is abundant with wildlife. Not the quality I would like but it was cloudy and rainy and they were a good distance from me.

Wilder Wein im Herbst hat etwas besonderes - erst die Wunderbaren gelben, orangefarbenen und roten Blätter, dann die seltsam anmutenden leeren Blattstiele.
Virgina creeper in autumn has something special - first the wonderful yellow orange and red coloured leaves then the strange looking empty leaf stalks.
