My tour guide jovially insisted that Anglophones never know the historical origins of the word whitewashing. That's who you become when you listen to yourself talk too much.
The frame made getting the removeable loft in a little difficult. After adding the supports for the loft, getting it in became even more difficult, so I decided to cut off the side extension, but thought to try cutting just the cardboard backing, so it would bend. This proved to work so from above it appears to be one piece.
A barn swallow nest appears to have taken a coat of whitewash along with the barn rafters. Kline Creek Farm, Winfield, Illinois
With the extension wall measured, the extra space is cut out. The extension will be glued into place with the glue tabs on the inside. Then the inside walls of the main bulding will be glued over those tabs.
