Historic Highway 1, now PTH 44, at the Lily Pond north-west of West Hawk Lake, Manitoba. This stretch of highway is also part of the La Vérendrye Trail, a series of highways commemorating the oldest waterway fur-trading route in Manitoba.
There were some fish swimming around near the bottom of the falls and so I took a tall photo to try to get some of the foreground into it.
First time down at the cottage with my Digital SLR. Decided it was a fine evening to go take some photos. So I went for a drive to capture a little piece of the beauty in the most beautiful part of our province, the Whiteshell Provincial Park.
