In an effort to switch up the "Where I Stand" prompt, I decided to try something different and make it past tense.

it took a while for me to really not care about my AFO showing when I wore shorts. Now, I just don't care. I need it to walk, so, there it is. And it's hot, I'm not going to suffer in the heat wearing pants just to cover this up.

Today was date day with the hubby. We went to the movies!

Today, I am standing on the unmaintained portion of our road. Although it is dangerous for vehicles, it is a favourite walking path for local residents and their pets! I enjoy crunching through the fallen leaves, and the view is spectacular this time of year!

A walk around the hotel area netted a view of this manhole cover... so that's where I'm standing today...

Busy night on Oxford Street in London. Ended up shopping in the sales instead of looking for photo opportunities. Quick snap taken at the traffic lights waiting for the bus. I like it.

People say that Ugg boots are out of style and any of us still wearing them are fashion fools. Those people obviously do not live in areas that actually have winter. I love my Uggs. They keep my feet toasty and cozy. Even on cold, stormy days like today. Maybe they can't take piles of snow because the wet will seep in, but for day to day running around, I just love 'em.

there I am.

First thing when I get home from work you'll find me standing in the kitchen preparing supper. I plan the meal while I drive usually. Today my husband suggested one of our favorite casseroles. You can see a little glimpse of the page of my Taste of Home magazine open to it. It's called Chicken Alfredo Casserole. It was delicious.

Home again.

After a crazy day at work.

I brought more than the usual amount of work home.

To tackle in-between cleaning the house and the laundry.

There are some plans for taking it easy, too.

Yay for weekends!

Alex loves cuddling up on the down throw. And, apparently, he likes to cuddle with The Girl's doll too. Adorbs.

I am currently shopping for size 16 shoes for the boy on my right in this picture. He has blown out the toe of his current size 15s. I wear a women's size 11, which is big as far as women go, so it pleases me to put my feet together with these guys and feel like my feet are petite.
