An early morning long run.
I'm tired of the words hot.
And muggy.
And even sauna.
In an effort to not be descriptive challenged...
It was a chunk-of-burning-love kind of run.
I struggled on a few miles.
So did my running partner.
Later, the man and I went to see my Opa.
At the hospital.
He got to go home.
After hospice came to meet with the family.
Again, I struggled.

It was a very, very cold walk along the beach this afternoon but if you could ignore the cold it was a lovely day!

I loved how the light was shining in through the window to the right.
In front of the quilting machine, getting ready to finish the last little bit of outlining the baseballs. Too dark for a decent exposure that didn't blow out the quilt. Quilt pictures tomorrow!
It's zany that I have to stand at this same place, every morning around 6 am (even though I'm retired!). Because we have a VERY demanding cat who thinks she needs to eat that early or she will die.
It started at 2.20am when I was subjected to a long discussion about how it was unfair that T had to sleep alone while I had daddy to sleep next to. Having returned T to his bed, I went to the loo. Went back to my bed, to find him there again. Moved him again. Waited 40 mins for him to go to sleep. Returned to bed. 10 mins later he was back. So I ended up "sleeping" on his floor. Not much sleep had. My day didn't improve much. I'm just hoping for a better night tonight

This morning I opened the curtains an saw snow! Not much but enough to see the tracks of the birds. That inspired me to do the same. So I also left my tracks in the snow.
^_^ I have wanted to go to Pearl St. to do this since I knew it existed!! Amazeballs right...My name in concrete.
