The second location of the morning on our trip to the North East was Chemical Beach and the famous wheels. These can only be seen at low tide and arriving just before low tide we thought we had timed it perfectly, however, although the wheels were exposed there was no water around them. We decided to wait for the tide to turn, which was a good decision as they look so much better in the water. It did delay us though and we had to cull some of the planned locations.
