Atlantis Navatek Boat for the Whale watching cruise

Whale watching from the beach at St. Vincent's in Newfoundland & Labrador - on a cold and windy July 12, 2020.

In this and the following pictures, you can see the flukes.

Our whale-watching boat leaves Reykjavík harbour, and heads north into the Greenland Sea. We come across plenty of seabirds, while the guides keep a lookout for whales. They find some in the distance, and get excited, but – I don’t want to rain on their parade – we get them closer and clearer (and warmer) at home in Eden during the annual migrations.

Whales doing whale things. The underside of the whales tail has a unique pattern on it some what like a finger print.

We didn’t see anything this time.
