Das Herz des württembergischen Weinbaus schlägt im Unterland: Auf rund 10.000 Hektar wächst „Württemberger“, mehr als die Hälfte davon reift im Stadt- und Landkreis Heilbronn. Die Stadt Heilbronn selbst zählt mit über 530 Hektar Rebfläche zu den wichtigsten Weinbaugemeinden im Lande. Liebhaber und Kenner in der ganzen Welt wissen den Riesling und den Trollinger zu schätzen, als Spezialitäten werden Gewürztraminer, Muskateller, Clevner, Samtrot und Lemberger als Qualitäts- oder Prädikatsweine ausgebaut. Insgesamt erzeugen 120 Familienbetriebe weit über sechs Millionen Liter Heilbronner Wein.

The heart of Württemberg viticulture beats in the lowlands: "Württemberger" grows on around 10,000 hectares, more than half of which ripens in the city and district of Heilbronn. The city of Heilbronn itself, with over 530 hectares of vineyards, is one of the most important wine-growing communities in the country. Lovers and connoisseurs all over the world appreciate Riesling and Trollinger, as specialties Gewürztraminer, Muscat, Clevner, Samtrot and Lemberger are developed as quality or predicate wines. A total of 120 family businesses produce well over six million liters of Heilbronn wine.

Yesterday, I took out my new DJI for a test flight. I previously scouted the location during my race bike training. It's probably the largest and most beautiful vineyard in the area.

This shot is an HDR taken directly into the sun light, which was blocked and softened through autumnal fog. The photo was taken in Weinstadt, Germany.
