Last weekend I made a wonderful bicycle tour from Fellbach to Schorndorf along the small Rems (river). It was pure pleasure driving by the magnificent apple tree blossoms.
Thanks for your visit!
Enjoy the weekend everybody ... I hope you have a lovely one!

In September 2009, the DB Museum's V 200 116 with Rheingold coaches of the "Freundeskreis Eisenbahn Köln e.V." (FEK) undertook a special day trip under the sign of Franconian wine to the oldest wine town in Franconia, Hammelburg. This involved travelling on the "Franconian Saale Valley Railway", which was still equipped with old infrastructure throughout the area at that time. Here the train can just be seen on its return journey as DPE 88191 Hammelburg - Cologne at the western entry signal of Hammelburg.

Found the perfect place a little bit above the ruin of the Y-Burg (Y-Castle) in the vineyards.
No friendly fire with fireworks, since we were completely alone.
I used a flashlight to give some details to the tree!
Electricity pilons in the evening light.
Usually I find those very disturbing in my landscape photography because there are so many of them around here. Sometimes I simply decide to make them the subject....
This is quite a good example of the landscape around my hometown.
I'm fascinated of the technological progress in agiculture. The guy on the far left?
He started to use that remote controlled mini tractor to mawn the grass on that steep hill moments after I took the photo!
I found this picture when I went over older pictures on my computer and liked it too much to let it go to waste!
