I'm getting the lap band on the 13th of Feb. I'd post my weight, but I'm a bit shy. So I'm doing a photo journey along with some written material.

Appointments-

17 Jan- dieitician

01 Feb- Alfred shit, part of a random control trial

24- Physician

13th- Surgery

My diet at the moment is pretty bland, lean as well. From the 29th of January, I have to even become more strict. I am hoping I can stick to it, but I think that because I'm shelling out 4k I shouldn't have too much trouble.

I tried to blog in word press, do you know how difficult that is!

Ugh looking at this photo, glad I did my hair. I am hoping in 5 months time it will look drastically different. Look, I know that I am not going to be a supermodel, or probably ever wear a bikini. But I know that I am kind of pretty, and now which that I didn't have all these 'things' that contributed to weight gain. Being dx with having an underactive thyroid was a relief, at least something to explain it.

I am feeling really sick to my stomach. (today's the 14th), I don't know if it's my body adjusting to the new diet? Perhaps. I can't even look at food without feeling that wave of nausea.

I hate sharing this photo! I hate having to acknowledge what a heifer I AM. The only one that turns a blind eye is Alyssa, my little button. According to her, there's nothing wrong with mummy. Blake just said I have a huge arse. But that's okay, he's 5.

So why the lap band? WHY not the sleeve?

Oh I'd love to have the sleeve, the major difference between the two is that the lap band can come out, the sleeve is permanent. However, if the lap band just aint working I will do the sleeve. I'd like to see a bit more research first.

So my diet today:

1. banana, almond milk, optifast, berries, air pooped poopcorn

 

My diet will consist of this from the 29th:

3 x shakes, 2 x cups veg, and lite jello (jelly)

 

Can ya''ll see why I'm starting the pre-op NOW. I' cannot have fruit on the 29th, so I'm just slowly adjusting to this.

 

Week 11 and I'm still going in the right direction, albeit a little slower. To be honest, this week I was happy I'd lost anything at all.
