It might surprise, but "just a bunch of disks" is a valid technical term.

I saw a stack of hard drives on my music table, in a strange coincidence they were seven.

52wks2014 Week1 Fiesta

Every year on New Years Day I try to get out for a walk, or if Mother Nature cooperates, some Nordic Skiing. It may not be a fiesta of fireworks but I always enjoy the peace and quiet of this yearly ritual.

I also find that most of these New Years Day sojourns result in an appreciation of winters quiet softness.

Shot for the Utata Weekend Project "Head in the Clouds"

Done in 4 layers. Back to front: Clouds, mountain, me, same clouds again.

Scott's spiraling irrigation line before putting it into the ground for the drip system.

Nothing like planting a fraction of 5-acres and then realizing that the 7 trees that were planted look like specks in the vastness of the yard.

One of my #monringrun Instagram traditions is to document the first shorts day in Spring and the first long tights day in Autumn. We had only 3°C on friday, clearly an indication for long tights.

New 365 Project 2022: 10.04.

Couldn't find any interesting "car" shots on ride home so I improvised an interesting shot from my car (truck) while driving on I-94 during downpour driving home from Michigan Saturday afternoon

Bows and flows of angel hair

And ice cream castles in the air

And feather canyons everywhere

I've looked at clouds that way

But now they only block the sun

They rain and snow on everyone

So many things I would have done

But clouds got in my way

I've looked at clouds from both sides now

From up and down and still somehow

It's clouds' illusions I recall

I really don't know clouds at all

Weekend Project "Weather" July 2nd - July 15th

Phraseme based on a parable of Jesus.

(Lutherbibel, 1912)

26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:

27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

(King James Bible)

Utata Weekend Project: Handheld Long Exposure

Nothing special. Just playin' around this morning.

Waiting for my daughter's bus to come.

I just left the Autobahn to see if I could capture some of those. It turned out that I found the juwi headquarters by accident. And that I could see more that 60 windmills from that spot.
