Honoring Memorial Day - both the soldiers, and the men and women who made sacrifices to keep the home fires burning.
Reposting this photo in honour of Women's day!
There are millions of inspirational feminists (female and male), present and past, and I want to thank you all for being so enlightening and empowering.
Feminism is a concept where individuals are able to live their lives free of stereotypes and bigotry.
Hopefully one day we will see the fall of patriarchy and the rise of a new culture where individuals can be respected and supported for being who they are and not forced into oppressive gender roles.
I realize this topic makes most people uncomfortable but I think that if people would start to recognize misogyny as hate-speech, it might not be so prevalent and tolerated.
A millon dolly hugs to everyone who took the time to read this <3

I am having to merge my pics on the phone in Firefox because I cannot get stupid photoshop to align and resize my layers
i know it's me being daft (for some reason i have always struggled with this) but if anyone has any good suggestions on how to enlarge a background layer or match layer image sizes i'd be grateful (ps - i am rubbish at watching 'how to' videos!)
see below- second version now replaced the original
day 10, yay!! i was inspired by the thumbnails in my homepage sidebar from yesterday's flickr blog...

This girl in a glass house is putting finishing touches on the bombardier nose section of a B-17F navy bomber, Long Beach, Calif. She's one of many capable women workers in the Douglas Aircraft Company plant. Better known as the "Flying Fortress," the B-17F is a later model of the B-17 which distinguished itself in action in the South Pacific, over Germany and elsewhere. It is a long range, high altitude heavy bomber, with a crew of seven to nine men, and with armament sufficient to defend itself on daylight missions

You gotta fight for your right to equality! Women have been getting more and more space in this man's world, and we want to see the beautiful history of feminism through photos.
The theme for this week's Flickr #TBT is #WeCanDoIt. Share your favorite pics in the comments, and we’ll show the best ones next week on the Flickr Blog.

«While the mother was concentrating on her dSLR, the wind threatened to take off with their rainbow umbrella. The boy helplessly looked at his mother, but the little girl resolutely jumped into action and kept the umbrella under control.»

Self portrait
Photographer: Nicki Panou
For 2021’s first self-portrait, I decided to turn myself into the girl from the “we can do it” poster, only that my slogan is “we can end it”. I think we’ve all had enough, it’s time to move on. So, let’s move on.
