A photo of the wonderfully surreal 15m high fibreglass statue of artist Yayoi Kusama painting her trademark polka dots on the outside of Harrods.

This was the most visible part of the Louis Vuitton / Yayoi Kusama collaboration but the takeover included the shop windows and several pop-up stores and installations throughout the store.

From the Harrods website, "The nonagenarian Japanese artist is famous for her immersive works originating from personal obsessions and hallucinations, channelled into otherworldly sculptures, paintings and public art. ā€œAt Harrods, we’re bringing Yayoi Kusama to life, placing a 15m sculpture of the artist outside our entrance, where she is seen to be painting her colourful dots across the magnificent faƧade of our Grade II-listed building,ā€ says Alexander Wells-Greco, creative visual director at Harrods. ā€œā€˜Crafting Infinity’ also includes playful installations inside the store, spheres of all-surrounding colour and instantly immersive mirrored walls to mesmerise our customers.ā€ Meanwhile, dedicated pop-up spaces host the accompanying collection that was first teased at Louis Vuitton’s Cruise 2023 show, featuring not only bags and leather goods, but the entire gamut of product categories and savoir-faire. From complex embroidery and leather marquetry to limited-edition perfumes, all are Kusama-fied with the artist’s signature flowers, pumpkins and dot art."

Grand Choir Gothic style 1545 - 1585, polychrome sculpture which consists was conducted by the Burgundian workshops of Cluny. To separate the religious people of the people, the rood screen or Grand Choeur is now witness to the religious practices of the time. Then by its majesty, it is also a witness to the wealth of the Church of St. Cecilia CatholiqueLa statuary forms a considerable body, perhaps the most important of the French sculpture of the late Middle Ages:

- 87 statues on the external faƧade of the rood screen

- 33 characters of the Old Testament to the perimeter of the choir

- 15 statues representing the Church inside: (12 apostles, the Virgin, St John the Baptist and St Paul)

- 72 statues of angels, Charlemagne and the Emperor Constantine overlooking the two entrance doors of closing.

All the statues retained their original polychrome. The color tends to naturalism, hair, attitudes and costumes are an admirable variety. The style beards faces, draped distinguishes three families that could be related to the art of the great French sculptors of the late fifteenth century: Antoine Le Moiturier and Michel Colombe
