Isla del Sol is the biggest island in Lake Titicaca on the Bolivian side. As we walked up the hill on the south side of the island in the village Yumani, we saw this man soaking up the sun just before sunset.

After yesterday's play, today is the motif for which I was actually on the road on Sunday. It took a total of only 2 hours until I passed this young birch tree that was standing very elegantly by the wayside.

Made from a collage of mine of bedroom doors open and I also went to Duygu Bruce website and found a picture of Hypnos, the God of Sleep and his Powers and copied it and abstracted it. A Red-winged Blackbird (Agelaius phoeniceus) male sets up its territory this spring and confirms it by regular calls from a prominent perch. This marsh had a number of blackbirds and was located on the west edge of St. Albert, Alberta, Canada.

Hamnøy is a small fishing village in Lofoden, Norway. It is located about 1.5 kilometres northeast of the village of Reine,

The first time I seen an image of this it was somewhere I always wanted to visit and this week I was lucky enough to make it. We had a 4.30am start to make it for blue hour and having an hour or so of snow sleet and rain to stand in but well worth it.
