Sadly, I did not get a pic of Ponderosa, before it came down. But type in "Ponderosa, 9510 Quivira Rd, Overland Park KS" on Google Earth, and you'll see the Ponderosa, facing north. Jarred's Jewelry sits there now, facing west, it appears.

This Bing.com view shows clearly than Ponderosa (the building, if not the business) survived past the conversion of the Safeway, (By then, some other store) to a Circuit City, as the maroon entry portal is very obvious.
