These seeds were caught in a spider's web above the forest floor. I used an on camera flash and then tucked a small LED light beneath the web for backlight.

I changed my mind about my photo for today. I was taking photos of spider's webs that I had sprayed with water so all the water droplets stuck to it. I originally chose a shot I did looking upwards with so you could see the blue sky behind the web, but now I think I prefer it on black.

This was a photo my 7yr old son took on his bridge camera, I have just looked through his pictures that he took at Brands Hatch last week and spotted this one of the armco barrier with a giant spiders web, I just had to share :)

A crop of my dew web picture, very close in. You can't see the web, so it looks like the little spheres of water are floating. This looks unnatural in many, if not ALL ways, but it is actually one hundred percent natural, the background, the water, everything.

Honestly, when I was taking the photo, I never knew the spider web existed, lol. I found out after I was looking at the shots. =P
