Soviet Ilyushin DB-3M bomber in the colors of the Finnish Air Force.

This plane flew in the colors of three different countries.

First, of course, the symbols of the Soviet Union, but also of the Luftwaffe.

The plane was a war booty from the winter war.

Finally, it flew in the colors of the Finnish Air Force. First with the code VP-13 and later DB-13.

The picture shows the plane at the Helsinki-Malmi airport. It was that color from spring 1942 until 1944.

The person who took the picture and the exact date is unknown.

The morning before I had discovered a huge population of orb webs on the hillside. The next day when I returned it was drizzling and most of the webs were gone, except for a few straggly remains. Some of them were quite pretty with the water drops, though.

There wasn't much light so I upped the ISO to 800, which is why there's a bit of noise. I used the on-camera flash (all I have).

Der "Weber Kargo" hat eine Ladefläche von 50 X 90 cm. Ein herkömmlicher Bierkasten hat eine Abmessung von 40 x 30 cm. Er bietet daher Platz für 3 Kästen. Allerdings beträgt die maximale Zuladung 40 kg. Da kommt der Anhänger an seine Grenzen.
