Bikes. They're my photography weakness... as in i have to take a photo of them.. not as in i suck at taking photos while riding bikes. Because I don't know if i suck at that. Don't think I've ever tried. Don't think I'm going to. But if i did i'm sure i'd be good at it. have you ever tried it?

The only weakness of the old 200/4 QC is the CA at extreme harsh contrast conditions, but this is easily fixed in PP.
A simple CA correction at the conversion (NEF to TIFF) phase in the free sofware ViewNX2.7 - auto axial CA (50% default amount) is enough to fix the bluish-purple fringe.

halloween is my weakness - I try not to go down that big 'ol candy aisle - but there's this inexplainable force that pulls me in! and this time, I found a sweet treat. I love me some reese's pieces - throw a cookie in the middle and you've got a sweet little crunchy treat! mmmmmm! two thumbs up!
My grandfather lies at this spot. A proud, stubborn and driven man. A man who never showed his weaknesses. He had a temper, and found many things to be angry about in this world. Much of this I see in myself.
Yet this same man was an exquiste photographer, had many of his photographs published in books. He would spend a day crawling around in the woods finding wild flowers to shoot pictures of.
My grandfather was never able to show affection to this own children but always showered his grandchildren with love. When I was a baby I was terrifed of him and he baited me with blueberries to gain my trust and love. I've heard stories of him going so far as to putting a paper bag on his head, so that I wouldn't be frightened of him.
When I shot this photograph it was the first time I had been to back to see him since he died a few years ago. He lived to be 92. I couldn't remember where his gravestone was, but after walking around I found him. I brushed off the snow from around the stone, put my hands on the top of the tombstone and cried for a long time. He would have told me to be strong...
So I got in my car and drove to work.
Life is delicate - perfect and flawed, seemingly eternal at times and slipping away at others.

One of MANY weaknesses of my picture taking is I tend to constrict my subject matter. It's a natural tendency on my part. I love delving into the details of my subjects. I have a huge weakness for gashapon types of things. And I liked the How to Train Your Dragon movie. So when I saw these "Dragon Eggs" at Wal-Mart, I had to get one. XD
They cost $5. It's supposed to be a dissolvable egg with a random dragon inside. The dragons have interchangeable parts, so if you get multiples, you can mix and max.
I only got one. This is the packaging.
