The bridge is called Weetwood Bridge it straddles the River Till.I like the shape of the bridge together with the trees beside the river as well.
I was going to crop out the sign as being white it is a distraction but decided to leave it in as it proclaims the state of the bridge as it stands today, it is grade 1 listed but I cannot find a date when it was built. We did have some rain while we were there from that cloud that drifted out over the Cheviot hills.
MNS 41and SOO 2413 grind out of Trout Lake with 8200 tons on the morning of October 22, 1983. With more pickups to be made along the way this 909 will be a monster by the time Gladstone is reached late in the afternoon. The MNS SD39's were sure footed but didn't have a lot of giddy up after about 25mph. That's where you really started to notice the extra 700hp you'd have on a more conventional SD40/40-2.

Aurora went head to head with a full moon on this night and I think the full moon won. This was about as strong as the northern lights got on this night.
Day 125 - 365/2023 - A Never-Ending Journey
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Day #10 post surgery. Progressing and still weak, but
preparing a healthy and delicious meal is something I really enjoy doing and I finally had enough energy to fix tonight's dinner.
Plated above is seared Ahi Tuna, marinated in fresh lemon juice, Jalapeño Olive Oil and Cayenne Pepper, with a side of microwave potato and a garden salad. Start to served : 30 minutes.

Had an errand in town yesterday and feeling inspired by the photography of my Flickr friend Leon Van Kemenade I had another shot at a couple of architectural/reflection shots and still felt very intimidated but this place seemed quite enough even for me... although a couple of candid street shots left me feeling weak... A bit beyond me I'm afraid..
Something #nice: I saw a small #bee hanging in the cat's net on the balcony. Was so weak that it fell directly into my hand. As a good host, of course a little bit of sugar water was offered - was also gratefully accepted

I usually go out to take photographs from early morning to late afternoon. This photo was taken around 10 am on a hot day. I saw this weak ant and decided to "shoot' her. I was looking at her wondering how tiny and weak she was, running in the hot weather on hot stones and ground, with no clothes to protct her against the weather.
After a while, the ant found the small pieces of bread I usually throw for ants. She took a big piece and began walking back to her "house". It was not very far, however, for a tiny creature carrying a big piece of bread in this hot weather, it was, and is, tiresome. I was wondering how weak this tiny ceature is.
Then another idea hit me. Now I was comfortably sitting under my umbrella, with a snack beside me and some cold water. How would I feel if I had to take off my clothes (excuse me) in this hot weather, walk or run bare footed on hot stones and ground, carrying some heavy load!
I then discovered who the weak creature really was (and is).

Maybe you will like it... i made it in december, i can't decide is it good or not... it is always problem to me... and i'm sure this is the main thing in photography, the abilty of decision between good and bad... you can't learn it... you have to be able to make a difference between the captures, which one carries the value...

The sun was trying it's hardest to break through the cloud this morning and shine down on Tyneside, but it was not to be - the closest the area got to a sunny day was this.
60085 has just left the Tyne and Wear metro system behind and is seen approaching Park Lane Junction. This was 6N86 - one of the biomass services from the Port of Tyne to Lynemouth Power Station.
GBRf purchased Colas Rail's 10 Class 60 locomotives in 2018 and deployed them on power station workings from the Ports of Tyne and Liverpool. 2 years later and only 3 out of the 10 have visited the paint shop - the rest carry this unbranded version of Colas Rail livery.
Tawny Coster (Acraea vialoe) (වියෝලා) Very common butterfly in low country and found all over the Island. Can be seen inscrubby grasslands, gardens. Dosal basking species. Flight is weak and fluttery.
pond photography, lesson 2: leave the pond's edge to earthlings who can handle the pond's edge. Quite contrary to popular believe, humans are NOT waterbirds! so, once again, don't try this at home ;-) the gold is not for you to conquer anyway.
Despite freezing temperatures on the morning of the winter solstice, the bird appears to be getting some warmth from the weak sun.
