MNS 41and SOO 2413 grind out of Trout Lake with 8200 tons on the morning of October 22, 1983. With more pickups to be made along the way this 909 will be a monster by the time Gladstone is reached late in the afternoon. The MNS SD39's were sure footed but didn't have a lot of giddy up after about 25mph. That's where you really started to notice the extra 700hp you'd have on a more conventional SD40/40-2.

The bridge is called Weetwood Bridge it straddles the River Till.I like the shape of the bridge together with the trees beside the river as well.

I was going to crop out the sign as being white it is a distraction but decided to leave it in as it proclaims the state of the bridge as it stands today, it is grade 1 listed but I cannot find a date when it was built. We did have some rain while we were there from that cloud that drifted out over the Cheviot hills.

Thunbergia battiscombei is a weak-stemmed, perennial shrub rather than a climbing vine. To grow upright, it must be tied to a support or have taller plants to lean on for support. Blue Glory has bright green heart-shaped leaves, fuzzy greenish-white buds, and dark blue to purple trumpet-shaped flowers.

With not long left before her ticket expires SR Schools Class 30925 "Cheletenham" performs the last run past of the day during yesterday's Time Line Events Charter on the Mid Hants Railway and catches some weak sun shortly before sunset. Taken between Arlesford and Ropley near Northside Lane.

Aurora went head to head with a full moon on this night and I think the full moon won. This was about as strong as the northern lights got on this night.

Day 125 - 365/2023 - A Never-Ending Journey

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Day #10 post surgery. Progressing and still weak, but

preparing a healthy and delicious meal is something I really enjoy doing and I finally had enough energy to fix tonight's dinner.

Plated above is seared Ahi Tuna, marinated in fresh lemon juice, Jalapeño Olive Oil and Cayenne Pepper, with a side of microwave potato and a garden salad. Start to served : 30 minutes.

I have generally refrained from shooting anything CN related for some time now as I work for the company and get my fill on a daily basis. Today was a bit different. I had some time to kill before a family function near Proctor MN and I heard a train rolling north out of the yard. I headed down the road and I saw this ore empty rolling north through Adolph. The sun angle didn't work until just a couple miles outside of Coon Siding where I took this photo. A bit foreground floral coverage ala Paul Enenbach. The leader is one of only 30 rebuilt SD40u's (CN term) which for me was worth the drive. A orange B&LE 900 series or Missabe 400 series tunnel motor would have been better though.

Typically, when this was due to run a week ago, it was full sun. Today, a brief pause in the rain and a little weak sun. Hey-Ho, its rare to have something in the daylight here in the south west now so cant complain.

This location has seen some action. Its the location of the Sleeper fire in 1978 which claimed 12 lives. The bridge from which this shot was taken was opened in 2005 and replaced the level crossing at the same location.

Something #nice: I saw a small #bee hanging in the cat's net on the balcony. Was so weak that it fell directly into my hand. As a good host, of course a little bit of sugar water was offered - was also gratefully accepted

Weak sauce winter, so far. We’re up to 265 consecutive days with no measurable snow in Salt Lake City. There’s a little up in the mountains, but not enough.

Hmmm...I don't think I'm going to like this recipe...better get some more beans!!

I usually go out to take photographs from early morning to late afternoon. This photo was taken around 10 am on a hot day. I saw this weak ant and decided to "shoot' her. I was looking at her wondering how tiny and weak she was, running in the hot weather on hot stones and ground, with no clothes to protct her against the weather.

After a while, the ant found the small pieces of bread I usually throw for ants. She took a big piece and began walking back to her "house". It was not very far, however, for a tiny creature carrying a big piece of bread in this hot weather, it was, and is, tiresome. I was wondering how weak this tiny ceature is.

Then another idea hit me. Now I was comfortably sitting under my umbrella, with a snack beside me and some cold water. How would I feel if I had to take off my clothes (excuse me) in this hot weather, walk or run bare footed on hot stones and ground, carrying some heavy load!

I then discovered who the weak creature really was (and is).

Obadiah 1:2 “Look! I will make you a weak nation; you will be greatly despised!”

Maybe you will like it... i made it in december, i can't decide is it good or not... it is always problem to me... and i'm sure this is the main thing in photography, the abilty of decision between good and bad... you can't learn it... you have to be able to make a difference between the captures, which one carries the value...

A field glazed with hoarfrost on a late morning in January in Iceland. The sun is very weak at this time and may not have been able to melt the ice off the grass.

The Snow Queen smiled, as the world went quiet,

Snowdrifts to the sky,

Snowdrifts run riot.

The Snow Queen left, with dawn’s weak early light,

Behind her was silent,

Behind her was white.

Rabelera holostea, known as greater stitchwort, greater starwort, and addersmeat, is a perennial herbaceous flowering plant in the family Caryophyllaceae.

Stellaria, the genus name, means star-like. The specific epithet holostea comes from the Greek holosteon, literally meaning 'entire bone'; thus it is a derogatory reference to the brittleness of the weak stems of this plant.

The sun was trying it's hardest to break through the cloud this morning and shine down on Tyneside, but it was not to be - the closest the area got to a sunny day was this.

60085 has just left the Tyne and Wear metro system behind and is seen approaching Park Lane Junction. This was 6N86 - one of the biomass services from the Port of Tyne to Lynemouth Power Station.

GBRf purchased Colas Rail's 10 Class 60 locomotives in 2018 and deployed them on power station workings from the Ports of Tyne and Liverpool. 2 years later and only 3 out of the 10 have visited the paint shop - the rest carry this unbranded version of Colas Rail livery.
