Many of you who are lucky enough to go on safari have seen examples of the symbiotic relationship btween animal and animals and birds. I have seen it as well but in the past the birds flew away before I could get a decent picture.
Luck was with me again here by Lake Nakuru where I finally was able to capture oxpeckers with an impala. The birds pick ticks and other insects off of the impala. And I guess we have to believe that the impala is appreciative. I know many of wehumans would be.
This photo was taken from Adelaide Torrens River at Elder Park yesterday~ it was really a great place to do photography. One of the Pelican here is playing with the lighter... How much I afraid he/she gonna swallow it. hehe...
Anyway, I had a great time there yesterday... :-)

COVID numbers are continuing to rise around the world. So many people are in lockdown and not able to get out, many have been sick and have had loved ones die, and so many, including me, who haven't been able to hug their families since the beginning of this pandemic. And we have no idea when the end is in sight, or if things will ever get back to "normal."
When I saw this little vine wrapped around a post in a nearby garden, I thought of how much all of us need a hug right about now. So I'm sending out a virtual hug to all of you.
