The November Classic Trial run by Canterbury Classic Trials was held in North Loburn on the back part of Travis property. Warm summer weather greeted the 29 riders who completed 4 laps (36 sections) with a mix of terrain including climbs, descents, roots, rocks, and some mud.
Riders in action included 3 Pre-65, 14 Twin Shock, 7 Air Cooled Mono, and 5 Modern.
This was the last competitive classic trial counting towards the annual championship, with the annual results to be announced at our December Trial.
Before then we have the annual Greybeards trial on the last Sunday in November.
The closet results from the trial include Kendall (A+) and Wayne (A) who both managed 33 cleans from 36 sections. In Twin Shock A+ Kahu took the win on 5 points with Kendall only 2 points behind, and in Pre 65 A Chris took the win on 28 with Dave only 2 points behind.

My mom and I didn't know before driving here that the mall had closed years ago. Despite that, it still stands with some hope of reopening, which seems highly unlikely.
