Wayne "The Train" Hancock in a gritty performance at the Tarlton Theatre in Green Bay, Wisconsin with Christopher "Slim" Parker on guitar and Sebastien Bordeaux on bass.
explored 03.17.2024
In this shoot there is all that I wanted there was in my “blow-up photo of the West”: The Mittens, the red desert, the dirt track, the sun rising on the horizon, the sky flooded with warm tones, a couple of small pink clouds, the morning haze and the dust of the desert and finally, a lucky break, a person, small, alone, down there in the middle of the road, which helps to strengthen the feeling of how much everything is huge and majestic.
Moving along at a steady pace, a mother carries her toddler along Taft Avenue trying to get to the MRT station before the next train arrives.
Anybody miss me? No? OK, that's cool.

"Where am I?"
"On top of City Hall."
"Who said that?"
"The person holding you from falling."
*Prisoner looks down to see the street below and then up to see Batman.*
"BATMAN!!"
"Where's the Joker?"
"I ain't talking! She'll kill me."
*Batman's grip loosens.*
"And I won't?"
"OK, OK!! I don't know where she is, honest. But I do know where Yo-Yo is."
"Where!"
"She's heading to Wayne's Casino. Said she's gonna win big bucks tonight. That's all I know! I swear!"
"Thanks."
*Batman let's him go and prisoner falls to his death.*

Been a while since I've been on Flickr and posted a Lego picture. Schools been pretty busy but now I'm free for the weekend.

This was an interesting one for me. I figured the new warning light covers on the visions would fit for an updated look, as well as single pane doors.

Wayne Hancock draws his inspiration from old country music in the style of Hank Williams. He blends rockabilly, western swing and blues for an awesome classic country sound.

The Wayne Theatre, located in downtown Waynesboro, Virginia, originally opened in 1926 as a vaudeville and silent film theater. It continued to operate for years, and in 2000, the Wayne Theatre Alliance was created to begin the process of restoring the theater. It is scheduled to reopen in the spring of 2016 as an entertainment center. Information from the theater's website.
A strange little water tower (and pumphouse) in Wayne, OH. I liked the decorative railing around the top, a nice touch to such a utilitarian item.

Another view of the county courthouse in Wayne, Nebraska. The 1899 building features 18-inch thick brick walls, perhaps in response to the fire that burnt down the previous courthouse. The courthouse square is unusual in that, except for the library, it is surrounded entirely by houses rather than commercial buildings that is typical for Midwestern courthouses.

Florida Clapper Rail (a.k.a. Wayne's Clapper Rail; Rallus crepitans waynei) - Biolab Road, Canaveral National Seashore, Wilson, Florida
I was waiting on a Sora Rail to come out and play when I noticed this guy hiding in the grass. And then to my amazement it came out to say hello.
Here is French rider Wayne Bourgeais showing us how to do colour, in qualifying. Aprilia 660, in the Super Twin class, IOM TT 2025.
Spotted this automotive art on Hwy 74 near Jasper, promptly pulled a 180, and stopped for a few shots. The sign said Wayne's World, so there you are...party on.
This handsome, fascinating building sits on Liberty in Wooster. The light was, obviously, not in my favour, but it seemed important to capture the whole building.
John Wayne Airport, located in an unincorporated area of Orange County, is surrounded by the cities of Irvine, Newport Beach and Costa Mesa, although its airport code and mailing address are registered to Santa Ana. The first airstrip on the grounds was constructed in 1923, when Eddie Martin signed a five-year lease with James Irvine to operate a flying school on land owned by the Irvine Company. Martin added the first hangar in 1926. In 1935, Howard Hughes staged his world speed record-setting flight from the Eddie Martin Airport. With the opening of the Santa Ana Army Air Base in 1942, the adjacent Martin Field was temporarily closed. After serving as a military base during World War II, the Santa Ana Army Airfield was returned by the federal government to the county with the stipulation that it remain open to all kinds of aviation uses.
The airport was rebuilt in 1964 and expanded in 1967, 1974, 1980, 1982 and 1990. Formerly the Orange County Airport, it was renamed in 1979 for the film star, a Newport Beach resident, who died the previous year.
