Built in 2010 by private donations, and located on the southeast portion of the courthouse lawn. It is an impressive tribute to those who have served the country, dating back to the Civil War.

My mom and I didn't know before driving here that the mall had closed years ago. Despite that, it still stands with some hope of reopening, which seems highly unlikely. My family used to go every now and then when I was growing up because, as far as I can recall, it was open on Sundays, unlike the malls in Bergen County.
This tiny mall from the early 70s is now becoming a pile of rubble. The Wayne Hills Mall had been dying slowly since the 90s, and it closed for good around 2013. The attached Burlington Coat Factory will stay standing and continue operation as the mall around it is torn down.
