Rahvin took the kids to the fair over the weekend and Lume was on a quest to find the cutest pastry ever! Unfortunately, she found it, but then decided it was too cute to eat! I think she still has it...
Sorry this picture is so awful. I actually did go to the fair on Saturday, so I snapped this quickly before I left and it looked a lot better on the camera screen. I was going to retake it, but no time. Oh well.

Wayne is the owner of Charlottes Cafe. He loves Broken Hill and was born and bred here. He was a medal winning Aussie rules football player for Broken Hill in his younger days and is also the father of AFL’s Adelaide Crows player, Taylor Walker. He also has another son and a daughter.
He made me feel very comfortable and came across as a very nice person who enjoys working in the hospitality industry. It was a real pleasure to go and meet this STRANGER and take his portrait. Thank-you, Wayne.
Great testimonial from Manuel for Cathy Wayne. Great JOB!
"“I would like to thank Cathy Wayne, Regional Recruiting Manager with Patrice and Associates, I’ve the pleasure to work with Cathy for about a month on some career opportunities and I am proud to say that we secured a position with a great company, from the moment she contacted me I recognized the professionalism and the passion that she has to get things done, she helped me and coached me and went out of her way to attend to what I needed to be successful in landing on a great position, Cathy is eager to listen and it is clear that she cares about her clients.
I know I will definitely recommend and refer my friends and family to Cathy when the opportunities arise.”

THE FLAMING LIPS.
(free press summer fest)
seeing them absolutely blew my mind.
i've never screamed so loud in my entire life.
the camera stopped working right before they started to play, so not many photos :/
did get a few videos on my phone, though.
still in awe...
(p.s. sorry these photos are poor quality--i was using a 4.0 megapixel camera my co-worker let me borrow since they didn't allow detachable lens cameras--aka the only type of camera i own besides my holga.)

I'd wanted to do a full background and color for this originally, but I couldn't figure out a good composition, so just Wayne, and one crow. ^^
