Tuesday Musings...
At Forresters Beach this morning I got to thinking about Tuesdays—today being one. It’s like the hump day between the weekend and the official hump day. Maybe Tuesday is just when we realise that Monday was a warm-up!
I went down a Google rabbit hole reading about Tuesdays. Turns out, there are some pretty cool Tuesday facts, too many to bore you with here but these few caught my eye:
Ruby Tuesday? The birthstone for Tuesday is Ruby—makes you wonder about The Rolling Stones song! 💎🎶
Do you see dead people? Some believe that if you’re born on a Tuesday, you have the power to see spirits. Wonder if Bruce Willis was born on a Tuesday. 👀👻
Research suggests that Tuesday is the least popular day on Facebook. I wonder if that applies to Flickr too? 🤔More investigations coming on that!
Tiw’s Day – Tuesday is named after Tiw, the Norse god of war, equivalent to Mars in Roman mythology. In old English : Tiwesdæg. No wonder it’s said to be a day of action and bold decisions! ⚔️🔥
The OG music drop day before digital streaming took over, music was officially released on Tuesdays. The idea was to give record stores time to unpack new albums before the weekend rush. Now, it’s all about Friday drops. 🎵📀
Anyway… Happy Tuesday, folks! Hope yours is a good one. 🚀😎
Update: I just checked my Flickr stats for Jan/Feb and yes, Tuesdays are the slowest day significantly! Not that you will read this because it's a Tuesday and you won't be here 😏
Across the wild distant blue
I do look and think of you
Under the clouds, that float and fly
I think of you, up in my sky
Where you shine, just like the sun
Through my mind , you do run
Across the blue, straight to my heart
Where you will now never part
Like the lake, that does stretch forever
My natural love, i'll leave you never
Yet another daylight long exposure landscape shoot - I am quickly becoming addicted to daylight long exposure! Manual mode same as last to get more experience. I chose f/16 to allow for the exposure time I wanted (15-20 secs)
Thanks again to Adam and his Landscape Masterclass at First Man Photography - without that I really wouldn't have considered going manual and not even gotten the shot because going through that masterclass has made me rethink how I shoot landscapes. I am still learning; I still struggle when looking for interesting subjects and also the composition. Also, ISO, aperture and shutterspeed is something I still need to incorporate into my workflow for each shot because I tend to forget checking and setting them. Heh.

Finally, I have finished my last assessment and to be hand in today - as last day for my work.
I can enjoy myself now with a break after my show tomorrow.
All The World's Alive Again
The rabbit hops its gentle step
The lark sings lyric songs
All the world's alive again
Spring rights the winter wrongs.
Mother hen protects her chicks
White blossoms are in bloom
All the world's alive again
No snowy clouds to loom.
A kitten chirps her tiny mew
The child blinks his eyes
All the world's alive again
A new world crystalized.

Hi dear friends,
Springtime once again, after a long hard challenging winter, and I’m sure I’m not the only one glad to welcome it. The weather however here in the midlands UK is very slow to catch up, and is freezing!! So I will wait patiently :)
Thank you for your visits.. you can be certain they are appreciated, and no matter how long it takes me, I intend to reciprocate!

Georgian Bay, Ontario, Canada.
We have approached these rocky islands in a canoe and it was fun to try and compose the shot. I remember it took us several approaches, and you can imagine we had to be careful not to flip the canoe over nor to get it broken against the rocks. Challenging conditions, for sure - that's why the focal distance is a bit too much to the wide angle end. That lighthouse is almost lost on the horizon. The good thing was we survived ;-)

Between the lips, nature grows
It does swell, it now flows
Into the lake, so wet and sweet
Where wild love , it does meet
Where wild love, it does flow
Into the places , few do go
Between the lips, deep inside
Where natures hidden secrets hide
Through the trees, deep in the
lakes
Nature sinks and love it makes
The pink and blue sky descends softly into the water while the man and his god (whoops, I mean dog!) are lost in their thoughts and their affection for each other.
An awesome spot, be prepared to pack bottle of drink and some food so can enjoy the day at this spot.
We run out of water bottle and it took us a few a hours at this extraordinary spot.

Your passionate waters they do flow
In my eyes, now they glow
My soft skin, they do caress
As my desire, you undress
Sinking deeper, deep inside
In your lake , i do ride
Until i feel your soft , sweet kiss
Filling me with total bliss
Love in my eyes, it does glow
As your waters, on me they flow
Down by the lake, filled with green
Reflections of beauty, they are seen
In my heart, they do shine
my veins they fill . like sweet wine
Beauty reflected up to the skies
It does thrill, my looking eyes
Down by the lake, filled with green
Where sweet beauty, now is seen
