I think this particular Prison Tower set was an exclusive in the United States. The box had a folding front which revealed this scene, where the pirates have ventured deep into waters surrounded by jungle to attack a isolated outpost. I love the vast array of foliage used for the jungle and the lighting makes it look mysterious and impenetrable. A scientist can be seen up on the cliff studying the jungle-covered ruins. When compared with other dioramas, it is apparent that the Prison Tower and Guards are simply lifted from the 1997 catalog and superimposed over this jungle scene.
