This is Wadsworth falls in Middlefield, CT. I had to wait for a good soaking to do some water falling. This place was reduced down to a trickle just a few days ago, but thanks to a good storm passing through the area, it started looking again like a waterfall. Unfortunately with the rains came strong winds and knocked down almost all of the leaves.

Even though this waterfall looks completely frozen, there was still plenty of water flowing under the ice

First day, first hot spot for photography in Iceland. Everything from arrival to the journey starting point has been great. I travelled along with four other photographers and Jarrod Casting, international well know photographer. He organized everything and I can't thank him enough for the fantastic five days. I am actually planning my second trip and workshops with him, pretty soon.
We did a quick stop in the Thingvellir National Park and headed to Oxararfoss Waterfall. The landscape is just terrific, lots to see. It is actually breathtaking. It is like living in a non existing world such is the diversity of things you can see in just few miles. Can't wait to publish more pictures.

My big chores in the yard were finished yesterday so I decided to take a little walk after supper with my son and one of the dogs. I had my neutral density filters in my bag but I didn't have the tripod. I used the rocks and a bit of luck to get this modest long exposure. This is the same waterfall I shot here but, as you can see, it has slowed to a trickle.
This weekends adventure with Mark Waidson was complimented by the addition of Clive Griffiths to our merry band of photographers, just over an hours drive later, a full days hiking through the Waterfalls and woodlands of the Coed-y-Rhaeadr lay ahead...
Nestled into the southern slopes of the Fforest Fawr massif, west of Merthyr Tydfil, Waterfall Country is one of the most beautiful and popular parts of the Brecon Beacons National Park and the Fforest Fawr Geopark, with steep, tree-lined gorges and an abundance of tumbling water.
Known in Welsh as Coed-y-Rhaeadr (Wood of the Water), Waterfall Country lies within the triangle formed by the villages of Hirwaun, Ystradfellte, and Pontneddfechan. Here, old red sandstone and a long belt of outcrop limestone have created a highly distinctive environment of wooded gorges, caves, swallow holes and waterfalls.
With the tide in and the swell up the water crashes onto rocks that don't normally see a drop! You need to perfectly time the shot to get the water flowing back out into the ocean. www.robertvinephotography.com.au/2016/02/waterfalls/Night..., Darwin NT.
The Fairy Pools is a series of picturesque waterfalls and crystal-clear pools in the heart of scenic Glen Brittle, in the western foothills of the Black Cuillins. The Pools offer stunning views of the Cuillin Hills.
My first idea was to do a long exposure shoot, so i did.
When i got home i kind of liked the contrast and drama it introduced without.
so that's what i chose to post.
I found this lovely waterfall deep in the mountains of Norway
Kravica Waterfalls. Bosnia & Herzegovina. When I arrived at this location it was dull and overcast, the the sun broke through lighting up this spectacular scene.

The Robertson Creek waterfall in the Algoma Highlands on a cold winter's day (-15°C)- -about 30 km north of Sault Ste. Marie. The 5 m / 15 foot waterfall is at the bottom of a steep 30 m / 100 foot ravine, just off of the Voyageur Trail Stokely trailhead.
