Voringsfossen is one of the Norway's most famous waterfalls, and has a fall of 182 metres and a major drop of 163 meters. Voringfossen means “esteemed waterfall” in Norwegian.

под непрестанный шум потока можно увидеть его двурукую змею ... А переводится его название с норвежского как

уважаемый водопад.

A pretty spot spot there below Oneida Falls.

Dieser Wasserfall ist am Stadtrand von Winterthur und hat den Namen Affenschlucht, warum dieser Name kann ich nicht sagen, Affen habe ich dort auf jedenfall noch nie gesehen :-) Plätscherndes Wasser wirkt auf mich sehr beruhigend, weshalb ich sehr gerne solche Orte aufsuche. Ich hoffe das Bild wirkt auch auf andere beruhigend!

This waterfall is on the outskirts of Winterthur and has the name Monkey Canyon, why I can not say that name, monkeys I have never seen there in any case :-) Splashing water has a very calming effect on me, which is why I like to visit such places. I hope the picture also has a calming effect on others!

Tried a second position, but couldn't get it as steady down low on a rock, so I stacked two images to blend the long exposure of the water with a short exposure of the surrounding scene.

Seljalandsfoss waterfall is impressive all year round but in winter it becomes quite special with strong gusts moving the fall around and the spray making it almost impossible to get a clean shot :)
