This is the other side of this sign. It reads: "Warnung! Das Berühen der Stromschienen ist lebensgefährlich, und darum verboten." Translated: "Warning! Touching the electrified rails is life-threatening, and therefore forbidden." I like the "therefore" in that sentence.

Warning Sign "Children" in Banya, Bulgaria, south of Varna. A fine example of the Bulgarian "running" style.
I took a walk through The Park in Nottingham on 23rd July 2011 and this is of one of the signs at the junction of Tattershall Drive and Tunnel Road. The Park is not only the last place in Nottingham where the streets are still lit by gas lights, but the road signs are in a time-warp as well. Unfortunately, they cannot really be categorised as pre-Worboys or post-Worboys, as they exhibit features from both eras. In addition, because the Park is essentially a network of private roads, some signs (like this one) don't conform with signs found (or formerly found) on public roads elsewhere. Nonetheless, I felt they were worthy of record. In this case, we have a post-Worboys grey post with a non-standard letterd one way sign. Note, again, the blue road marking.

Shots taken during our recent ski trip to Banff (February 5th, 2010, the same day puppies Aspen and Tahoe were born:)), in the Canadian Rockies.
This shot taken at Kicking Horse resort with my Panasonic Lumix G1. The clouds over the valley looked amazing when standing above, atop the mountains. It was quite a thing to drive up to the mountains in the morning too.
Editing carried out in CS3 and Topaz Adjust.

I wonder why they shot the horse and not the hikers. Maybe some kind of dislike for all things equine ? Seen on Pipestone Pass Road [highway 2] in Montana.
Warning sign on an 22kV electricity substation in the Melbourne suburb of Footscray. Until the privatisation of the Victorian electricity industry in the mid 1990s a number of local councils operated their own electricity distribution businesses, known as Municipal Electricity Undertakings. They bought electricity in bulk from the State Electricity Commission of Victoria and sold it to consumers in their municipalities..

I might be reading this wrong, but i think they want us to stay away from the pier.
On maybe a positive note, there were engineers working beneath the pier the other day. Yay!!!!!! Perhaps things are looking up in terms of it's repair. Crossing fingers.........
