Since this enclosure is right next to the former weather balloon hangar, I guess there is an old underground gas tank behind the fence.

I actually had a smoke there ;-)

Serious warning! That could hurt!

I always feel like somebody's watching me.

And ya never know what you`ll come across walking through the woods in

North Carolina.

Near the narrow passage (km 0.6) this warning board placed; keep a certain distance from the track when a train arrives. Well...

This was in a computer room on the USS Midway (CV-41). Nice to know the Navy's got a positive mental attitude about this issue.

This pictogram looks like an upturned fish on the shore next to a tree. If you see this sign on a chemical, it means that chemical is toxic to aquatic life. Of the nine Hazard Communication Standard/GHS signs, this is the only one that is optional, so you may not always see it on every chemical that is known to hurt fish or other aquatic life.

A clear warning sign right across the street from Parliament Hill in Ottawa, Canada

Most likely, erected following the Canada Freedom Convoy of early 2022, for I had never seen this sign before.

Thanks (naught) to a bunch of conspiracy theorists who ultimately gave reason for all Canadians and visitors to Canada, to not be able to enjoy Wellington Street facing Parliament Hill.

Actually, a visit to the hygenist. All handled very efficiently. Entrance and exit and waiting area all extremely well organised.

A page from the c1950 Franco Traffic Signs catalogue. The company produced a wide range of the pre-1965 'portable' warning signs for situations such as road works and that conformed to the MoT standard drawing B.2237.

An apparently long neglected, and presumably little needed, sign cautioning park goers against the dangers of thin ice at Panola Mountain State Park near Atlanta, GA. Shot on Ilford HP5 with a Minolta Maxxum 5.

I do not know any Hangul but I am pretty sure they have condensed “be prepared to scream and run like hell” in those two characters :-)
