The Three Rondavels are striking rock formations rising from the escarpment of the Blyde River Canyon in South Africa. Named after traditional African huts, these rounded peaks stand prominently against the dramatic canyon landscape. This iconic viewpoint can be reached via the famous Panorama Route. A dandelion full of seeds and full of sunlight in the morning. A nice bokeh in the same tones and very abstract completes a very warm image.
This is Emily, playing the flute in a studio rehearsal of our jazz music band. The room was very dark with only two spot lights... and plenty of melodies....

Hiking at Ahornboden is an unforgettable experience, especially in autumn. The large Ahornboden in the Karwendel in Tyrol is famous for its incredibly beautiful foliage color. And then attracts with its over 2000 trees every year countless people to hike. It is not for nothing that the Große Ahornboden was even declared a natural monument.

The cortado I treated myself to on Saturday in one of this city’s many hip cafés.
A cortado is simply equal parts espresso and warm, lightly textured milk — though here they frothed it more like a flat white or cappuccino. And yes, it was oat milk; cow’s milk and I don’t get along.
According to what I found online, the cortado originated in Spain, especially the Basque Country and Galicia, before spreading across the specialty‑coffee world.

Kate had the chili dog and the Italian sausage. I had the Maxwell Street Polish sausage and the Chicago style hot dog.

I love the way the sun hits these old glass panels in David Crombie Park. Built as an entrance to a children’s tunnel in the early ’90s, abandoned when the passage flooded — now it glows like a quiet relic in the winter light.
