If you fancy a view overlooking the River Thames these apartments valued at between 1-3 million pounds might be to your liking.

Quite remarkable when you think that during the second world war Wapping and surrounding areas were known as being the slums of London.

Buildings on the north bank are Old Aberdeen Wharf, Wapping Police Station (now home to the Marine Policing Unit, formerly the River Police / Thames Police), St Johns Wharf, Phoenix Wharf, King Henry’s Wharf. The ‘Shard’ near London Bridge towards left of picture - while it is south of the River, it is further north than much of Wapping.
