Buildings on the north bank are Old Aberdeen Wharf, Wapping Police Station (now home to the Marine Policing Unit, formerly the River Police / Thames Police), St Johns Wharf, Phoenix Wharf, King Henry’s Wharf.
The stairs and causeway are located at the end of Wapping Old Stairs Alley between the Town of Ramsgate pub downstream and a private house upstream.T here are five rising concrete steps at the end of the alley.
