A White-tailed doe was living her life in the quiet of the woods~ a beautiful sight to see. I always feel in tune with nature when wildlife see that I pose no threat.

Einige Fotos von meiner Wanderung zur Karlshütte und zur Bildeiche im Salzforst in Unterfranken. Das Waldgebiet liegt ziwschen Rhön und Fränkischer Saale gehört zum UNESCO-Biosphärenreservat Rhön. Durch das Gebiet führt auch der Wanderweg "Der Hochrhöner". Die Fotos entstanden abseits der großen Wanderwege, wo man sich nur als Einheimischer sicher im Wald auskennt.
Am 19.12.2020 von Chilchweg Buchholterberg via Egglen (Bleiken) - Oberbleiken - Falkenfluh - Barichti - Franz - Schafegg (Aeschlenalp) - Heimenschwand - Marbach - Schoubhus zurück.
11 Days to wander the northern part of Norway on my own with only my camera and a rental car to keep my company. It was a magnificent road trip that took me to the tip of Lofoten, into the winding fjords of Senja, and through the surrounding fjords. The weather was challenging most days, but also delivered incredible natural light.
Eine Wanderung von der neuen Fussgängerbrücke (Forum) nach Orsbach und zurück. Auf dem Hinweg über den Schneebergweg, durch Lemiers, runter Richtung St. Benedictus, dort auf die Grenzroute 7 und hoch, hinter der Nerzfarm lang, durch Orsbach und von dort über den Schlangenweg und den Rabentalweg zurück. Sonnenbrand inklusive ;)
Fotografisch bleibt zu sagen dass ich die ganze Zeit meinen Polfilter benutzt hatte, mit sehr unterschiedlichem Erfolg. Fotos sind geotagged.
It's been on my must-visit list for years, but owing to my recent obsession with building Dr. Strangelove-style control panels, my need became more pressing. So at last, I made the pilgrimage to The Black Hole, a remarkable place in Los Alamos, New Mexico.
Run by a former Los Alamos National Laboratory employee named Ed Grothus, The Black Hole is an improbable combination military surplus outlet, pacifist shrine, and "museum of nuclear waste."
Ed was on hand when I stopped by, so I had the opportunity to talk with him, watch his presentation on the perils of atomic warfare, learn about his plans to erect a pair of "Rosetta Stones for the Nuclear Age" in Los Alamos, and, of course, wander the aisles.

You get this effect when I wrap a colossus up high with Wander holding on. As it falls Wander takes on this posture which is identical to his 'diving' animation.
