Exploring Little Lamplight's forest, she came across a hole in the ground. She climbed down, finding herself in a cave. But where's the out?
With the flooding lake outside, the constant trickle of water made it difficult to keep dry and warm.
It’s still quite cold, and the flowers are just beginning to sprout. However, I was pleasantly surprised to discover a small patch of Siberian squill (Scilla siberica) that appeared overnight at Glenwood Cemetery, one of my favourite places for my daily walk. I also noticed that the Marsh marigold (Caltha palustris) will soon be in full bloom.

With my dreams shattered, I wandered around aimlessly, stumbling across an MEC--Mountain Equipment Co-op--store, the Canadian REI.
Ducking inside to look for some long underwear, I emerged with a pair of silk tops and bottoms for far less than anything I've ever seen at of the other outdoor stores that I had popped into in Banff. I also got another pair of socks.
My spirits buoyed by my fortune, I headed back to the Old Strathcona neighborhood along 82nd Ave, also known as Whyte Avenue.

Wander into a world of tropical birds, mythical creatures, and everything in between. Natural paintings from the talented Flemish draughtsman Anselmus Boëtius de Boodt (1550–1632). His passion of biodiversity, made him become a humanist, mineralogist, physician and naturalist, all portrayed in his artwork. With this vintage collection of flora and fauna we want to showcase his illustration skills, and provide you with beautiful printable decorations for your walls. I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o'er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
Continuous as the stars that shine
And twinkle on the milky way,
They stretched in never-ending line
Along the margin of a bay:
Ten thousand saw I at a glance,
Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.
The waves beside them danced; but they
Out-did the sparkling waves in glee:
A poet could not but be gay,
In such a jocund company:
I gazed—and gazed—but little thought
What wealth the show to me had brought:
For oft, when on my couch I lie
In vacant or in pensive mood,
They flash upon that inward eye
Which is the bliss of solitude;
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils.

I wandered out to the east driveway a couple of days ago, the trail leads to our Daughters yard but is only used in the summer. The stone sign post was made years ago by my Brother, it still has Dad's gate sign hanging there.
