One of the many gorges in the Central Australian desert districts, as can see by the footprints many visitors to this particular Gorge not all that distance from Alice Springs

"It is the marriage of the soul with nature that makes the intellect fruitful, and gives birth to imagination." ~Henry David Thoreau

Oh evergreen forests of the northwest, you speak such a lovely language. One that feels both new and ancient, one of quiet knowledge and spirited birth. You are stoic, you are vibrant. Your age is seen in the girth of your trunks, but your liveliness lingers all through the months.

A southbound VRS detour move rolls by the old Central Vermont station at Windsor, VT. It must have been something back in the day, to stand here and watch CV 2-10-4s and Boston & Maine E7s hustling through town.

Amtrak still calls here today, at a small (but newly-renovated) platform just behind the camera.

Not long after dawn, and out of the fog, I found this Perth-bound SCT not far west of Northam. 13 April 2023

There were a couple of Pronghorns grazing in the distance when I was walking across this field/area that ran off before I could get them in the photo.

Headed to Castlepoint to catch some storm waves but that turned out a fizzer so did some sea scapes instead...looking north from the foreshore at Castlepoint.

Up until her first shape shift, the young druid had been afraid of wolves. But when that shift finally took place, she found a whole new world and a brand new perspective opened up to her. Now she understood...and so...the fear went away.

This goose took off when it saw me coming

I'm always amazed at all the incredible places there are in my homland that I've never yet seen. I just went to Garibaldi lake for my first time last week (only a couple hours from my house) and I am blown away... can't wait to go back as soon as possible!

Found an hour to spare for a much needed wander with a camera. Tried out some 35mm KiKiPan 320 that I got gifted.

It's got a dense bf and quite a lot of grain. I may have reticulated it a little with normal temp dev and cold room temp stop and fix.

It's perfectly usable but nothing different/special to me. I'm not a big fan of swapping and changing films. Ilford FP4 and HP5 suit me fine for most everything.

One of those places I just love to wander about in as every direction gives a beautiful view.
