I've been trying to do a little bit outside. today I came in so tired I couldn't do anything else.

"The" Prairie Line SD40-2 3001 (reportedly former SOO/CP 6622) shoves a cut of loaded grain hoppers back to the rail-to-barge trans-loader on the Illinois side of the Mississippi River, while the iconic Gateway Arch stands watch.

 

Note the rear of a BNSF train passing in front of the Arch.

I love looking at the floor of the forest. You never know what you may find! It was a bit hard to take this picture though since I had a manual focus lens. I used an extension tube as well along with a small light panel on the top of my Sony A7.. Got it close enough to post lol.

I found this unposted panorama while looking in the archives. This is the beautiful Nishinomiya Tsutakawa Japanese Garden in Manito Park, Spokane, Washington. This was taken in 2016. Zoom in and wander around.

Some come to see Arches. Some come to wander in canyons. Some come to ramble around rims. Some never stop seeing and wandering and rambling and stay.

For this month's Serenity Blog Circle I enjoyed some quiet time in a graveyard. As you do!
