Many different wallets once one starts thinking about it, I decided on daughter's sparkly gold wallet along with her travel wallet, the two went hand in hand recently on a trip to Sydney :)
It was Electra's red hair that drew me to her as I passed the restaurant. I did not go in; I am not sure why not. Perhaps because I was exploring the beach front and had agreed to meet my wife at a particular time. I continued to walk along the sea shore. On my way back to our hotel, I passed the cafe again. I looked through the wind and there was no sign of the redhead. I continued walking for about 5 minutes, thinking to myself "should I go back...Should I go back? I decided to go back.
At the cafe, I didn't see Electra straight away but when I did, she returned my smile and greeting. I got straight to the point "would it be alright to take your photo?" She agreed and I ordered a bottle of water. Electra had her hair tied up. It had been loose when I had first seen her. I asked if she would be able to let it down again. She kindly went out back and fixed it for me.
Electra lives and works in Corfu during the summer months. In the winter she lives and studies in Athens. Her English was excellent, far beyond that required for waitressing duties. I wondered if she had ever been to England. She hadn't but would love to go there.
When we had finished making portraits, I got my wallet out to pay for my drink, Electra said "don't worry, It's on the house".
We exchanged goodbyes and words of thanks. Electra went out back again to tie up her hair. When she returned I watched her catching up with her work before asking if I might take a photo with her hair up. Electra obliged again.
