I didn't discover until today that I had lost my ATM card. I'm pretty sure I left it in the machine when I used it yesterday. Now I'm without a card, which sucks because (despite what you see here) I don't usually have cash on me.

Done! My first real one. There are lots of little things that are off and wonky and not so perfect... but I'm dead pleased with it all in all! And the next one - for yes, there will be a next! - will be better.
It is big, it is colourful, it will probably accompany me on travels more than around at home in daily life. All the important stuff fits in it - and I smile, when I open the zipper and see the double layer of dots.
I looked at the tutorials here - darnkat.wordpress.com/quilted-fabric-wallet-tutorial/ and here - elily00.files.wordpress.com/2010/05/organizer-wallet.pdf - and winged it from there; next time I will probably measure something, make sure the parts fit each other.... and wing a little less.
