Apparently it was time for a new wallet. I've been looking for a while and hadn't found just the right one... until I saw the plaid. Yes

First try at this wallet. It was a BEAR to do! i won't be making many of these!! For a 12 year old boy that loves Illini.

I just finished transferring my stuff from my zebra wallet to this one. I must say this is the best damn $30 ever spent on a wallet. Now everyone that knows me knows i'm not a big fan of Marilyn. I don't go ape shit over her like *cough*alyssa*cough* . .Anyways, this wallet has about 5 different compartments. Right now i have my I.D, money, all my cards, my keys, a shit load of change, my sensa pen, and my sidekick cleaning cloth in it. I still have room left for more shit too. I can even hide my money in the zipper compartment so no one knows i have any =) . . overall it's a great damn wallet & i'm glad i purchased it.

Six steps of gluing? I never counted them until now... It's worth it to ensure everything stays in place.

I finally cleaned out my wallet, I have no idea how I managed to fit over 1.25inches worth of stacked material.. into my wallet.. at all.. how... clueless

I'm still working on perfecting my lightbox. Here are the most recent pics from there

Plarn Wallet with the strap and flower on the left hand side which is opposite the original pattern. I shared this photo to show you what it looks like to have it on this side. I did later move it over to the right side to follow the pattern.

American cotton from Sew mama sew.

And my favorite batten lace and flower embroidery.

Zip wallet in beige and blue, this side has vintage linen on the bottom and patterned quilters fabric on the top separated by a silky blue ribbon.
