I am working on a new batch of tomboy wallets, and here I'm showing the inside view before everything gets stitched together. This is where the cards and the paper money goes. The lower pocket pattern is what will be on the outside of the wallet.
This wallet is not your traditional wallet - it's specifically designed to be kept in the front pocket of slacks, trousers, blue jeans, etc. This flat, flexible wallet is like traditional wallets in that it has slots for credit cards, a window for a driver's license and a place for bills. Because this wallet is kept in the front pocket, it reduces back pain and the opportunity for theft.

This is my absolute favorite wallet I've made! I love the way the colors and the design turned out. I totally want to keep it, but alas. :) Maybe I'll make one for myself to keep!
I make wallet size promo cards as a "gift" for each session. I cropped this off center to allow the room for the writing.
I'm into this wallet-making at the moment. Here's the second one. Already it is a lot more 'right' than the first one, though there's still a lot of little things, I want to do differently.
Outside's this retro fabric, I like a lot - and inside's Amy Butlers Coriander, my all-time favourite print, I think.
A coin pocket with a zipper, six card-pockets and two pockets for... for something. This one does not have a pocket for bank notes, since I found the first one (see it here - www.flickr.com/photos/notyetthedodo/5890030617/in/photost... ) to have simply too many pockets and too much material in it... so this is a try. Hmmmm. Wonder, if that pocket will be missed - the zippered pocket is large enough to stuff even a few notes into it, perhaps....

Handmade leather purse wallet in the Art Nouveau inspired Kieran pattern. The colors are sage, white, pink, yellow and orange with an antique black wash. The entire outside of the wallet is branded but only the front is painted. The inside of the wallet is an accordion style with plenty of room for cards, cash and other items. It has a zippered inside pocket, magnetic closure and removable strap. Dimensions are approximately 6" x 4" x 1"
