This purse wallet is my first foray into sewing since a pillow in Junior High home economics. Black and white satin stitch embroidery on a green brocade fabric. It has black ribbon edging and faux leather lining with a pearl snap clasp. This ended up being a gift for an artist I admire.

I didn't follow the tutorial exactly, as I altered quite a few things.
Made from a free pattern online. I am not a big tea drinker but I joined a tea swap so i could make the Tea Wallet.
A few weeks ago I gave my wallet a facelift because it was this horrid fake coach patterned one. Picture something like this:

only with a faded red sort of pattern, with the double C-s to look like coach.
I like it much better now.

No question about today's photo-of-the-day. I did a complete run-through of my Tuesday schedule because I lost my wallet. Pullman Transit....didn't have it. Hillside Cafe....didn't have it. WSU Police....didn't have it. It got to the point where I was searching every building I was in. And this bad boy was found in my friend's car; you know, that awkward spot next to the passenger's seat where your french fall into? Yeah....that spot. Glad it's back in my hands; it's not getting out of my sight again.

I recently bought a new purse and a new wallet. My old wallet was long and purple. It not only clashed with the red, but it was hard to get in and out of this purse. The new wallet has slots for 20 cards, but when I filled them all up it was about four inches thick. Fortunately, the purse has lots of zippered pockets so I put all my store "rewards cards" in one and the wallet is now a more manageable depth.
